Final Contest
Dates for the Final Contest: July 23rd – July 24th, 2021 (TBC)
All Semi-finalists must submit their entry introduction which includes the design concept, specifications, system architecture, and control programs to the Contest Committee prior to the Final Contest. Please prepare the presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint format. (Delta will announce the detailed information later.)

Semi-Final Round
All semi-finalists will be reviewed and scored by the judges online in three aspects: "Entry Introduction & Demonstration", "Submission Fits the Contest Direction", and "Design and Quality". The best 15 teams will advance from the Semi-Final round to the final round.

The Final Round
In the final round, the competition will focus on the overall performance, creativity, organization/coordination and capabilities of the self-produced entries, presentations of system design and innovations, and oral defense (proficiency and stage presence) for their work.

Presentation & Entry Demonstration (Online)
Each team should have one teammate present their solution with the PPT submitted prior to the contest. The contents of the presentations should include the realization of the processes, system model, principle analysis and simulation, system design, wiring diagrams, electrical specifications, major components and devices, PLC ladder programs, the main configuration of the PLC system, parameters used for the AC motor drives, elements and screen interface of the HMI, system tuning method, conclusions and more knowledge learning and application experiences with Delta's industrial automation products.

The rest of the team will demonstrate the entry operation, and answer the questions from the judging panel. The presentation, entry demo, and oral defense will be conducted online.

Note:
Since there are contestants from other countries, the slides of the presentation must be in English.
